"As an older teen, I am sure that I am less conservative than most parents, but I am still strongly against Kidz Bop for creating their remake of mostly inappropriate songs for kids. While I personally listen to a lot of these songs, I wouldn't have my child listen to them while Kidz Bop tries to pass itself off as something fun and child-friendly. Many of them have obvious sexual messages (sung by children, which i find disturbing) and themes that young children shouldn't have to deal with. From an teen's perspective, Kidz Bop has effectively ruined many songs for me; Every time I hear them sing on commercials I cringe. Kids should listen to their own age-appropriate songs. Just because kids are singing them doesn't make this okay for kids. Think about the bad influence of some pop music which regularly deals with drugs, sex, breakups etc. Do you want your five year old, completely unaware of what it's about, to sing along to this stuff?"

"I hate kidz bop so much im bald.When my family heared it they cryed. you guys suck!!!!!!!!! ok i am going to give u not 5 not 10 but 15 reasons why kidz bop sucks

1.they cant sing

2.they make the songs worse

3.they ar behind in the song

4.they are gay

5.they only sing the chorus

6.they altar the lyrics to much

7.some of the material sang is not appropriate for children

8.every person i ask says they suck

9.my neighbor thinks they suck

10.they are copying the now cds

11.the singers are basicly 4 year olds

12.do i really need to go on

13.they make perfectly good songs into perfectly good trash

14.the songs are only enjoyed by one age group

15.it is a waste of money

"KNOW THE LYRICS BEFORE YOU BUY FOR YOUR KIDS!

THIS MUSIC CONTAINS HARMFUL, NEGATIVE, DESTRUCTIVE MESSAGES FOR KIDS!!!

MOST of the songs aren't kid friendly or appropriate IN THE LEAST! My FIVE YEAR OLD picked up on ALL the lyrics to "Welcome to my Life" and it SEVERELY affected his mood and behavior!!!!!!! How would you feel knowing that the following lyrics from songs on KidzBop7 is what's being marketed and sold to your child:

WELCOME TO MY LIFE:

"Are you stuck inside a world you hate?

With the big fake smiles and stupid lies

"Kidz Bop as a whole is apocolyptic, meaning it is so horrible, it could end the world as we know it, and the series truly is horrible. Basically, the series is a bunch of retarded idiots who like going on camping trips and singing songs around the campfire at night. Listening to this loser music is the same as dunking your head into the world's dirtiest toilet and gargling. If you want the songs, then just get the originals.

If you actually LIKE the series, you have problems and need your head examined. You should spend your money on something like Grand Theft Auto games, or Halo 2, or a PSP, OR A MONKEY!!!! MONKEYS RULE!!! (Okay, scratch the monkey)

Basically, don't get this."

Kidz Bop Kids - Might Be By Kids, but Definately Not For Kid

"Well, my ears hurt now.

Kidz Bop Kids just can't do it. They can't sing very well; their recordings of the songs often stray from the music itself; and the lyrics are rarely the same.

I understand the purpose of Kidz Bop Kids is to sell CLEAN versions of popular songs, but it is possible (especially with iTunes) to buy clean verisons of the songs sung by the real singers. A "bleep" is much better than a half-thrown attempt to replace a swear word with something sounding similar or "criminal record" with "school record."

What is wrong with singing "criminal record says I broke in twice" anyways?
