CD ReviewsA very enjoyable album 02/09/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "This would be a great record to get you ready for a vacation to New Orleans. The music is very fun and easy to listen to. Kid Ory was an old man when these recordings were made, but he could still play like a master.The sound quality of this CD is remarkably good. Even though it was recorded nearly fifty years ago, it sounds like it was recorded yesterday. Really.If you are a fan of traditional jazz music, this would be an excellent addition to your collection. Just don't hide it in the back of your cabinet; keep it up front so you can get to it often. Enjoy."
