Mostly instrumental, the album works well as a background compliment to any social gathering. But the more technical listener will also appreciate the album's many subtle surprises from the rhythym section even after several hearings. The two vocal tracks (in French) are wonderfully crafted and augment the melodic twists & turns of the musicians in a relaxing combination. Turkoise contains a freshness that will surprise you even after several hearings and is must for anyone who appreciates the intricacies of jazz."
