CD ReviewsThe good stuff 01/12/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "A great album with much experimentation, carving out a niche for themselves in this ever growing world of "stoner rock". Thick, monster grooves. The singer, who is NOT John Garcia(singer from Kyuss, although he did record a little material with them, it was never released), is probably the only thing that was holding KTB back. They were practically forced to use a singer by Roadrunner records. Eager to hear some new stuff, boys." Excellent the way it is J. I can understand the old school fans that were with Karma to Burn as a totally instrumental group but the singer on this album distracts nothing from their sound. This is a spectacular album that no one that is a fan of hard rock should be swayed from. Every track from the opener to the cover of Joy Division's "24 Hours" to the closing "Six" is great.
