Two masterpieces !!!

"The Kabalevsky concerto was written for the juvenile listener but is also a delight for the mature collector. The structure is very simple and easy to follow. If you want to be in a happy mood then this is the right stuff for you.
The Muczynski concerto is in the great tradition of the late Romantic piano concertos. It was the first time that I experienced this very original American "new Gershwin". There are some similarities with the early Stravinsky but the composer has his own sound (you may also enjoy his works for flute) and should be more popular in the USA because he is a living person."
Amazing

"This is an amazing CD. I especially like the Muczynski Concerto and Suite. They are great pieces, and the pianist is amazing--spectacular technique and artistry."
