Album Description 2009 debut from the young multi-talented singer, musician and Usher's teen prot?g?. An old soul is the last thing you would expect to find inside Justin Bieber. But all it takes is one listen to the 15-year-old Soul-singing phenomenon to realize that he is light-years ahead of his manufactured Pop peers. The album features production from The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. The first single, 'One Time,' produced by Tricky, is about one of Justin's favorite topics, puppy love. Usher joins Justin on 'First Dance,' where the two share verses on a song that Bieber describes as ''a slow groovy song that people can dance to.'' On the Midi-Mafia-produced 'Down To Earth,' Justin digs deep to talk about growing up. If he and I were hanging out with a group of friends and someone decided he should sing something for us, I would be alright with that. However, if someone said "hey, why don't you sing for us and I'll give you millions of dollars and fans," I would not be alright with that. The only reason these types of throw away pop stars persist is because of the record companies. They know they can exploit the young girl fan base and make a quick buck, year in and year out. That being said, anyone who has a brain developed enough to discern ANY type of quality in music should take whatever precautions required to never have to hear a note of this garbage. If you are 12, I don't blame you. If you are Usher or a record label head, I do." It's Not Just Adults Who Don't Like Him Heather A. I personally find all his songs very annoying and he sounds like a girl when he sings. A lot of my friends dislike him too. My younger brother says there are a lot of girls in his grade who adore Justin Bieber, but that is certainly not the case in my age group. Most of my friends feel the same way I do about this, there is no talent here, just annoyance. One of the worst artists ever."
