This recording is a collection of circle dance, flag and pinenut blessing songs in the Paiute and Shoshone languages. These social songs are performed by one of the last traditional singers of the Paiute people, Judy Trejo, and two of her daughters, Delgadina Gonzales & Christina Esquivel. This collection provides an excellent picture of Paiute culture, philosophy and sense of humor. The liner notes include song descriptions and translations.
