"The Lone Star State has long been a breeding ground for rock, blues, country and latin musicians. But rarely has any one artist been able to envelope these various styles of music so completely into his/her sound that the lines of separation are nonexistant. Randy Garibay's new cd "Chicano Blues Man" is an ambitious work that delivers the goods on each of these musical planes with ease. Garibay muses through rowdy barrell house blues (Still singing the blues), pop standards (You've lost that loving feeling), Latino rythms (Toke Y Toke) and 50's slow dancing, belly rubbin music (Your tender lips). Of course no self respecting Texan (or Texas wannabe) can listen to Randy's Texas anthem "I'd give anything I could to be in Texas" with out taking off your hat, raising your beer, and screaming "YEEEEE-HAAAAWW!". The best aspect of this fun and yes, danceable record is you just don't know whats next. It's so hard for me to keep good secrets to myself, in the case of Randy Garibay and Cats don't sleep I'm not even gonna try. -Snake@ The PG show"

"Q-VO,La musica de Randy es de aquella. His music is energetic and motivational. Randy was San Anto's best kept secret and has become Aztlan's prized son in the area of musical talent. Having seen Randy play live, I can tell you that his guitar talent is pure and powerful. There is no comparison to Randy. He simply is the baddest Chicano on the planet."
