CD Reviews

One great CD
Dennis Ellerbee | Jackson, Georgia | 02/23/2010
(5 out of 5 stars)

"For all of you bluegrass traditionalist, you probably will not like parts of this CD. Josh mixes bluegrass and country and adds drums and steel guitar to the mix. And boy did it mix well. This is one great CD. Worth the money if you like good music. You can hear the influence of Tony Rice, Randy Kohrs, and probably Sam Bush in this CD. The guitar work and vocals are superb. Just what you expect from Josh Williams. The musicians on this CD are some of the best around including Tony Rice, Randy Kohrs, and steel guitar super picker Doug Jernigen. Some of the highlights of the CD are the Buck Owens song Bakersfield, and Stealing Away. Some hot picking going on. There is not a bad song here."
