CD Reviews

Excellent debut!

"I like Mr. Secada better in Spanish than English. There is so much more passion in his voice when he croons en Espanol. He has a mesmerizing voice backed with a great range. I love this CD as much now as ever. It is uplifting and deals with a myriad of human emotions. My favorites are "Angel"-gorgeous ballad which allows Jon to show his vocal abilities. "Tiempo al Tiempo"-cool bass, great lyrics and melody. I know I mention melody quite often in my reviews, but it is vital to me. "Sentir"-Inspirational, moving, love the piano... "Perdoname Conciencia"-Deep and sensual. My favorite though is "Tu mejor amigo," a prayer to God which is just fantastic. One of his best. You will enjoy this amigos...Que Dios te bendiga!"
I really like his music in Spanish or English.

"I'm really fond of Jon Secadas music and I have all of his cd's and cassettes that I can find. Even though I am caucasian I enjoy the English and the Spanish versions.Anytime he comes out with a new song I will buy it no matter how much it costs because he represents a growing interest in todays population."

"I'm not fond of Jon Secada's music in English, but in Spanish it's great! After purchasing this cd, I became a huge fan of his. It's up-beat and makes for great summer listening. If you like this, try Mana--another great Latino group."
