What Jim Brickman was to piano music in the 1990's, John Sci

"This is music that echoes in the greatness of dreams. These songs inspire creation which for me, as a poet, is a very valuable commodity.

Genius is something that can be witnessed when you watch a pianist at work and you are amazed by their nimble fingers. Whereas, mastery is evident when you as taken so fully by the music that you forget that the pianist is striking the keys to create the song. At times earthy and at others ethereal, John Sciullo has transitioned from talented to genius and finally, with the release of this CD, to master composer.

In the past, it could be said that his music was similar to others or clearly influenced by others. Sciullo has now accomplished the most difficult task of all... he has found his own voice. Like many great modern composers (Randy Edelman, James Horner, Gabriel Yared, and John Barry to name a few), Sciullo has not only a sound but a form that is all his own.

If you wish to be inspired, moved, relaxed, and centered, than John Sciullo's "Improvisations for Piano" is the album you should be listening to.
