CD Reviews

Another rehash - only for the serious fan.

"Unfortunately the music industry seems to be throwing together John's songs into a plethora of comiplations so if you're just looking for a collection of his best work, this one isn't for you. To the serious fan, here is another fine set of his songs from the ubiquitous ANNIE'S SONG to the excellent "new" recording of the EAGLE AND THE HAWK. It's nice to hear some of his lesser known songs too - THE GARDEN SONG in particular is much underrated. All good stuff but still only worth a 3 being as it is a rehash of all the old standards."
Just another John Denver collection?

"I love this CD! I had trouble finding a CD with most of the 'good' song that also included 'Calypso'. I also believe that this CD contains one of the better copies of 'Follow Me'. The CD does contain the JD songs that those of my generation (born after 1980) might know. It's a good started CD to get one interested in JD and to sing around the campfire."
