2009 release featuring a rare live performance from the Jazz great. This Milan performance took place several months after the departure of Eric Dolphy, who for little more than a year had transformed the quartet into a quintet. Now, Trane was back to being the only horn and he embarked on improvisations that steadily became freer and freer. The Milan performance was recorded by a fan with amateur equipment, and sound quality is obviously not as good as professionally recorded shows. Eight tracks. RLR.
