"Some new age music is so soft and ambient that it doesn't stick in my consciousness. This album, however, has strong melodies and a wide variety of instrumental sounds. I especially like the bass lines. He sings in some kind of weird language on the first and last tunes, but I dig it. The music is good for relaxation, but there is enough going on to hold my interest. I suggest you listen to it turned up fairly loud to hear all the little things going on."

"As a massage therapist for ten years, I have listened to a LOT of New Age CD's. Paradise Within is one of those rare gems that you can listen to over and over while you're working and never get tired of it. It is richly textured, relaxing and energizing at the same time. I find I can use it to deepen my concentration, and I really feel it improves the quality of my work, helping me stay present. A great CD for healing work! It's great for driving, too, or whenever I want to feel more focused and peaceful...like when I'm cooking dinner after a long day!"

"When I first listened to Paradise Within, I did the whole headphones, quite-room, concentrating on the music thing. Definitely went on vacation. When the stress gets too high, I play it again. My wife takes it with her when she gets a massage. But over the past couple of months, I've played it in the car, during dinner, while jogging... It just lightens up the mood all around. It's like being able to breathe deeper."

"John Balint's latest CD is a fascinating fusion of rhythm, melody, and soulful, atmospheric orchestration. Even after repeated listenings, I hear new threads of melody or rhythmic subtleties that I'd missed before. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who appreciates fine musicianship and highly inventive, insightful composition."
