Synopsis

Album Description
Subtitled - 17 Exemplary Vocal Performances. Connoisseur's Cocker is a carefully programmed selection of Cocker's finest vocal interpretations outside his obvious array of hits. Drawn from albums released between 1969 & 1978, including the difficult-to-obtain Stingray (1976), Jamaica Say You Will (1975) & Luxury You Can Afford (1978), it highlights Joe's wonderfully textured approach to quality material, an approach which sees him bare his heart & cleanse his soul. This exhilarating & edifying 17 track, 75 minute collection includes, 'The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress', 'I Think It's Going To Rain Today', 'Just Like A Woman', 'I Shall Be Released', 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale', 'Lucinda', 'A Song For You' & 'I Can Stand A Little Rain'. The package features extensive liner notes & photographs. Raven Records.

"What a lousy collection to listen here. There's not enough song tracks covering Joe Cocker's entire rock music career major highpoints. So I prefer his two double-disc [BOX] set CD is much better to own for an investment buy!"
