"I now have four of the Maybeck recital CDs. And this is an exceptional one. What makes Brackeen stand out is her keen sense of rhythm, which she does a beautiful job counterposing with her right and left hand. She is capable of using big chords for accompaniment with both of her hands. The speed of many of her licks is lightening quick. I got a sense that she prepared extensively for this recital and did a great job selecting and executing the repertoire."
