"It's interesting to listen as groovemaster Jimmy Reed gets progressively more drunk through this representative studio album. He starts off swinging, with a great "Let's Get Together," but by the time he hits "Kansas City Baby," it sounds like he's nearly comatose. It's all good. Jimmy put the funk in blues."
