Finally Hitting The Bottom

"Most Jerkys' fans thought that things couldn't get any worse than the fourth album, but sadly, they did. This is as low as crank-calling gets, and it's obvious that the Jerkys had lost all of their inspiration at this point. This is a couple of tired, bored guys pumping out a product to make a few more bucks.

Just look at Sol Rosenberg, once the greatest character in prank-calling comedy. Some of his tracks on the album - 'Masturbation Box' and 'Send A Salami' especially - are excruciatingly stupid and unfunny. It's a real shame. The Jerkys were once clever punks; now they're vulgar and predictable, spewing juvenile potty humor. And what's with the '1,000 Chickens Trlogy?' None of the three parts is funny by itself, and it's less funny as a whole. Once Sol starts talking about having sex with the chickens, you'll shake your head and wonder where Brennan's clever and bizarre sense of humor went.

Avoid at all costs."
More than just a prank!

"This is the first Jerky Boys album that I bought and I think it's fab. I listen to it as much as Fawlty Towers, Black Adder or Alan Partridge (US readers will have no idea what i'm talking about here) and I have no idea why people find it a tired collection. The characters making the calls are more important than the reactions of the callees - to me it seems like very few of the people are aware that they are on the end of a joke. If they do get suspicious, it doesn't really matter anyway. We listened to it on holiday recently and were quoting the damn think for the whole week. If you're disapointed with this you are either missing the point or entirely humorless.
Wake up!"
By and Far their worst album!

"I have been a *HUGE* JB fan since their first CD. Yes, their albums have slowly been losing steam since their debut album - but THIS CD... this massive, steaming, nasty, runny, putrid pile of freshly excreted dung should not never have been released. I can count on one hand the number of good tracks it has (and I'd still have a finger left...guess which one). Half of the calls are useless because the people they called figured out its a prank and either half heartedly play along, or just make fun of them and make the Jerky Boys look like idiots. The whole magic of a prank call is that the person your calling DOESN'T know that its a prank! Thats what made their first 2 CD's so great! This pathetic excuse for a CD has almost none of that charm and even less decent laughs. I was actually saying to myself..."are they serious with this?" while I was listening to it. If you actually want to laugh, go buy the first two CD's. Those are genuinely funny. This CD is good for one thing- the trash. DON'T WASTE YOUR CASH."
