CD ReviewsSonic adventures 08/20/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "I discovered Jeff Palmer because I'm a serious fan of guitarist John Abercrombie, and am constantly looking for albums where he contributes his unique talents. Of the four Jeff Palmer albums currently available, this one easily takes the prize for truly adventurous improvisation, what I would call "fun" avant-garde. All of the musicians seem to be having a ball spinning out some rather outrageous musical concepts. Highly recommended for those who like music that explores the outer edges while remembering that the listeners might want to enjoy it as well."
