CD Reviews

My first live jeff album, and my fave

(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album was the first jeff buckley live album that I ever listened to, and it was love at first listen. I haven't taken this cd out of my cd player in about the 4 months since I got it. I loved all the versions of the songs he did, especially these parts: the ending of dream brother, the improvisation in the way young lovers do, the mixing of je n'en connais pas le fin and hymne a l'amour, and the extra part at the end of hallelujah. I basically love this album, and if you like jeff buckley, this is a must have."

"Buy it. otherwise you will regret it. A must for any Jeff Buckley fan. As usual, he excels on guitar and vocals, improvising many parts of the solo songs. He takes you on a journey with Van Morrisons "The Way Young Lovers Do" that will stick with you and playing the cd over and over again. If anything can make you appreciate His music more, it is this album."
The most bone chilling live recording ever

"it took me straight back to his apr.25,'95 grace tour show in houston at the original urban art bar. what an incredible show with soul coughing opening. the thing that blew me away is that he was (is) a Cocteau Twins fan. you can hear it for yourself on track 2 (the way young lovers do). when Jeff busts out with a couple of bars from Ivo. now that was a freak out!"
