A favorite of mine for years

"I'm so glad to see it's been released on CD! Redpath has such a versatile voice, and this collection shows off its full range, from the quiet grief of "Dancing at Whitsun" to the humor of "Captain Wedderburn's Courtship" to the angry "Blackwaterside." Redpath's voice, of course, is as near to perfect as they get, and her interpretations are equally remarkable: powerful and emotional, but never over the top."
