Album Description
2009 digitally remastered two CD set containing a pair of albums from the French-born violinist containing a pair of albums housed together in a slipcase: Electric Connection and King Kong (both originally released in 1969). Ponty started his career as a straight Jazz violinist, but went on to pioneer the electric violin. Ponty joined the Mothers Of Invention in the early 1970s, and then went on to record with the Mahavishnu Orchestra. 14 tracks. BGO.
