It's pretty unusual even by Jandek standards. Some of the songs sound like they are sung by a different (male) vocalist. And some of the songs have way too much echo. Drums are featured on a couple of songs, for the first time in a while. But there's no sense in trying to make sense of Jandek. He is what he is."
