Beat me because I'm a vixen

"You don't know it, but you can't live without this set. It is just so compelling from beginning to end. And Neumann is the man when it comes to this music. And you want to hear it in Czech, and with a Czech orchestra. Charles Mackerras, you say? Yeah, yeah, whatever... this is the one. The tunes, the orchestration, the singing - I love it so much I become virtually incoherent. One of the greatest operas ever and certainly the most underrated one. I'd love to be more analytical about it but I just finished listening to it again and...I can't be. Just get it."

"Really excellent and with very good sound. More sharply defined than the Mackarras which I also have. More varied tempi, and the orchestra is not as heavy over the "nature" instrumentation."
