Japanese only SHM paper sleeve pressing. Features 2010 Remastering. The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.

James hits his stride with his second solo album and never looks back. It's still a good listen 40 years (has it really been that long?) after it was first released. If I could only have two James Taylor albums in my collection the Apple Records album and this would be it.

Sweet Baby James reminds me of camping under the stars and Fire and Rain brings me back to the 70s and all my wonderful memories. I've got the original LP. There are some things you can't part with.
