"This is folk music at its best. I bought the CD after seeing him live, which was a great show. There is no bad track on this album. All the songs have great melodies and wonderful lyrics. Buy this CD! You will not be dissapointed!"

"I own this and Timelines, both of which are excellent albums for those who like music in the folk or singer/songwriter tradition. Glory Bound and Kiri's Piano are both beautiful ballads. I haven't heard any of his newer music, so I don't know whether those who like his recent releases will like this album."

"I *found* James on the Lightfoot Tribute CD, Beautiful. This CD - My Skies - is the third of James' I've added to my collection. His voice is unique. His songs are well written, both lyrics and music. I especially like River Run, a song about seeing things differently in childhood. Anyone who likes Gordon Lightfoot, or James Taylor, I think, will like James Keelaghan."
