"By listening to this excellent album, you are almost thrown into the movie yourself. It is an entire different way to experience this movie. The scores by James Horner give a deeper look into the feeling of the father and mother and child. They all show the sorrow of what the family must have gone through. And then you are catapulted into the kidnappers' world with Billy Corgan's superb compilation. His music is as dark and eery as the movie.I deffinitley reccomend this soundtrack. One of the best"
Ransom's score was good, but not Horner's best...

"James Horner's score for this movie does a good job underscoring the film. His music reflects the way the film's character are feeling. It also helps build up the tension in this movie. I like how Billy Corgan's "Kidnappers" music was include on this soundtrack. It offers and altnernative to those who think that James Horner's score "sucked"."

"scoreboy's crazy! this soundtrack was definetely worth the moola. the score done by Mr. Corgan is pretty amazing- offbeat and different, and with a certain leaning towards animal life. What's the deal with that? Anyway, it was a pretty good disc, and I enjoyed it."
