The West Coast Is Swingin' with Mr. JT ROSS!

"I'm a big fan of the Chromatic Harmonica a-la William Clarke, George "Harmonica" Smith and Little Walter. When I heard that there was a new kid on the block I was intrigued to say the least. After seeing JT Ross at one of his live performances I was Blown away...no pun intended. It's no coincidence that Mr. Ross had former William Clarke bandmates Rick Reed(bass), Eddie Clarke(drums), John Marx(gtr.), Zack Zunis(gtr.) and steve F'dor(keys) as his sidemen. The band backed JT with stellar musical prowess. The twenty-somethings vocal abillities knocked me out... not to mention his GIANT Harmonica tone. JT did several of his original tunes... like (my personal favorite)"Doggin' It" and covered everything from Muddy Waters and Jimmy Reed to William Clarke and Paul Butterfield. The packed house @ Harvelle's in Santa Monica, CA went crazy as Ross belted out several numbers off of his debut CD and blazed new territory on both his Diotonic and Chromatic Harmonicas. During the break I purchased a copy of "LOADED". When the show finished @ 1:30 am the dance floor was still packed and the crowd begged for more. When the bar shut at 2am I got in my car and popped in the CD and sang along to the songs that were stuck in my head from the fabulous high energy show. I highly recommend "LOADED" as a fine addition to all blues lovers CD collections. And if he's in your town... Go see him LIVE!"

"I grew up in Chicago and I hung around all the great blues clubs and heard all the legends; Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Howling Wolf, Hound Dog Taylor and Little Walter. I thought this pure American music, with which there would be no Jazz, would die once these men died. Most of the wanna be players today , like Blues traveler are shrill and lack that certain something. They say "Blues is a feeling" Well JT Ross has that feeling and then some to spare. If you like the blues, then you simply MUST get this CD."
