More magical music

"I don't know an awful lot about Pam and Philip Boulding beyond the fact they live in some idyllic setting in the Puget Sound area (and that Philip's father, Kenneth, was a Nobel Prize-winning economist), but I do know that there is hardly any other act in the music world that projects such a bright, cheery, and positive philosophy through their music without going over the top altogether. This *is* "New-Age" music, but it is neither overly commercial nor trite nor lacking in feeling or musicianship. The predominant sound comes from the Boulding's main instruments, the hammered dulcimer (Pam) and the harp (Philip), but they also play other instruments and from time to time attract big-name sidemen. This CD pulls them in a somewhat new direction, with reggae and calypso influences evident. Still, it's pretty typical Magical Strings, and another winner."

"CD was as I expected. I had heard a few cuts and wanted the rest. Delivery was timely and condition as stated, if not better."
