Henry Mancini's music is very original and inventive.

"The music of Henry Mancini is original and very inventive. You will hear music that is very demanding, but also very playful. "Peter Gun" has drive to it that you couldn't stop it if you wanted to. On the other hand, "Baby Elephant Walk" sounds more playful in nature.In most if not all his compositions, there is one instrument that comes through very well, and that is the French Horn. Eventhough it might be a concert band or a full orchestra, the French Horn comes through with no problem at all.His music makes you take notice very quickly, either as a driving beat or just easy and relaxing.Eventhough he left us, his music is still around. His music is, and always will be entertaining and exciting to listen to."

is by Nino Rota, and should be labeled as such..."
