"Yeah people give 5 stars on this site real easy, but this one is well-earned. A major inspiration for Fela, Pino was Africa's answer to James Brown. The last six tracks are a continuous live show, which is awesome. An electrified audience, great keyboard work, and extended "Afro Soca Soul" grooves reminiscent of Santana's early work with Greg Rolie. Any afrobeat fan needs this. And if you're looking to get past Fela and see what else was going on in west Africa at the time, this will further hook you into the world beat web."
