Hidden 20's/early 30's Musical Treasures Now Unconvered!

"We have come to expect only the best from Keith Nichols and The Cotton Club Orchestra. Not only is this album performed in genuine 20's/early 30's style with some the finest European musicians of this genre, the choice of songs makes this CD doubly good.The musical selections consist of music written and performed by Duke Ellington and James P. Johnston (or their associates), but for some reason were only played live and never recorded--until now! They are not seconds, but every bit as good as the hits songs we remember. Unless you are out for familiar tunes from the 20's, I give this CD two thumbs up--and a special award for resurrecting these nearly-lost tunes."
