"The Hard-Ons are the most legendary band to ever come out of Punchbowl! And this has gotta be one of their coolest albums. This album has THE BEST opening track of any hard-core album I've ever heard - it just grinds and snarls from the first second! Without knowing it you'll find yourself snarling up that top lip, nodding your head and strumming along on your air-guitar... and it doesn't let up, it just keeps on thumping as you bash through 21 tracks of loud, hedonistic awesome punk fun. And that's just what it is - FUN - with a bloody big F! Hey, it's so unserious that I love it, I mean there's a song called "Every Time I Do A Fart"! (and it's a great song too!) When this album first came out (in 1988?) I was just a pimply rev-head kid driving my hotted up EH Holden around Sydney, and "Dickcheese" was the noise that thumped through the EH's massive car stereo (to annoy the old ladies at traffic lights!). To see the Hard-Ons LIVE, now that is an EXPERIENCE! In the good ol days of the late 80s you had a whole moshpit of sweaty happy thrashers, all arms legs and crowd surfing, while the HO's were the blur of long hair and cool noise on stage. I'm amazed that there's so little recognition of this AWESOME band on this website - they are revered and worshipped by cliques of devotees the world over, and have influenced some very well-known bands... I guess that people who know what they like just go for it, and know where to find it. So if you've just stumbled on to this album while surfing the web, GET IT GET IT GET IT! You'll learn how to party all over again."
