Back To The Craphouse
Nuisance | Miami | 12/14/2007

"There's plenty of things wrong you could say about Gucci Mane. Let's start with the obvious. He really cant rap(although he's a lyrical genius in comparison to Toy Soulja Boy). He raps the same on every song(rappers who do this is asking for people to get tired of them) making it a chore to listen to him. He has no personality(he just drones on and on and on). Note to Gucci Mane: If people are accusing you of being a Jeezy clone, the last thing you need to do is to imitate anything that he is known for. Unfortunately, Jeezy Mane aka Young Gucci never got the memo because he uses the man's adlibs all over the album(you know how Jeezy says YEAAH on every track). There are about two songs that are decent on this album(dont get your hopes up). I Know Why feat Pimp C(RIP), Rich Boy and Blaze 1 is okay and even though I think that track is incredibly goofy, the Freaky Gurl remix feat Lil Kim and Ludacris is alright. I Might Be(feat Game and Shawnna) also known as Pillz is wack and even though The Game's verse was decent he could not save that track from being a bust and the hook by Shawnna is the dumbest hook I've heard all year. 16 Fever and Stash House have some dope beats to them but Gucci Mane's monotonous droning makes those tracks hard to enjoy. 15 Minutes Past The Diamond, Know What Im Talking Bout and Jump The Line are all wack. Trey Songz(he wonders why people sleep on him as a singer when he makes bad decisions like this?) shows up on the forgettable Drink It Straight. Letoya Luckett(WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE???) shows up on the terrible G-Love(U Dont Love Me) an obligatory player-who's-afraid-of-commitment type of track. The Nitti-produced Im Cool would clear the Soul Train. The last joint, Ballers(feat Shawnna) is a head-scratcher. Its sounds more like Shawnna feat Gucci Mane because she has two verses while Gucci has the second verse and the hook. The song was wack anyway. The worst song on here has to be Bird Flu. I take that back. I Move Chickens is the worst song on the album! Bird Flu comes in second. In short I suggest you skip this one(even if you feel Gucci Mane). He hasnt shown any improvement and this album comes off as another typical Gucci Mane album. Trust me, there is something more constructive you can do with 57 minutes of your time. Standout tracks: FREAKY GURL REMIX and I KNOW WHY."
