It was a live concert of the Budapest Strings. They played as if Toscanini were conducting. Dvorak's usually dreamy music became electric... but in this SACD, as in most performances, it remains dreamy. All the performances on this disc are nice, competent, lovely really, but not electric - yet I strongly recommend you buy it. My five stars are for the sound: buy it for the sound. It will tell you what SACD can do for the sound of strings. Strings are almost always sadly cheated on regular CDs. This SACD does the sound of strings proud!"
