Music that Keeps!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Greg Johnson's latest CD is an absolute gem. It's been a long time since I've come across an album where I enjoy listening to all the songs, without getting bored. The arrangements are simple but varied and appealing, and I particularly enjoy the (acoustic) sound of Johnson's piano playing. These are inspired songs, with words that capture much of what we thirty and forty somethings think and feel. It's like Greg is one of us - I've been listening to "Here Comes the Caviar" regularly over the past six months and I'm still not tired of it. If you enjoy the music of people like Elton John and Billy Joel (the sort of stuff I grew up on), you'll enjoy this album."
