"I do not own this cd yet, but I intend to purchase it. One night while driving home from work, I heard this song and it brought tears to my eyes....I was not in the church, and I could not understand why I was crying........but give God the glory...he was with me then and I did not even realize it.....These Thorns....can help you find your way.....Excellent.."

"Back in June 2001 I lived in Austin, Tx and I was going threw alot! I was hurt by family and friends: lied on, talked about, laughed at, looked down on! My heart was "SO" heavy and I just wanted it all to be over! I was into more things than I should have been! One morning I was listening to the radio before I went to work and a song came on, "These Thorns"! I listened to the words to this song and I cried so heavy because that's what I was going through! I just couldn't catch the name of the singer! I heard it again and recorded it and I listened to it all the time! This is 2003 and I lost the tape I had it on until a few weeks ago! I heard it and it brought back memories! I wanted to do a praise dance to it but then I lost it again! I was talking to a friend today and I asked him if he knew the song and who sings it and he told me Angela Spivey! Yall when I got to this and saw that song I wanted to cry because I've been searching for a long time! This song means so much to me because I still have "thorns in my flesh" and they're hard to let go and I ask that the Lord remove them because they're hendering me! I know there's alot of people that can relate to this song that's why I want to do a praise dance to it! A thorn can be almost any sinful/hurtful thing you can think of...fornication, lusting, lieing, backstabbing, shame and other things of that nature! Thank you Jesus for allowing me to hear her song and I also thank you Angela Spivey you're a legend...God Bless you all!!!!!!"
