George Soule started as a radio DJ and cut some indie 45s before he joined Malaco as a writer, producer and drummer. Moving north to Muscle Shoals Sound in 1969, he penned songs for a string of soul stars and graced the R&B charts as an artist himself with Get Involved in 1973. This CD features 26 rare and previously unissued masters and writer demos he recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound in the golden era. Tracks include: Cross My Heart, Let Me Be A Man, How Many Times, I'm Only Human, Love At First Sight, Sitting On Top Of The World, Let It Come Naturally, etc.
