"Though not among George Harrison's best efforts, "Gone Troppo" (1982) has its moments. "Mystical One" is a classic Harrisong that deserves more recognition. Other hidden gems include the minor hit "Wake Up My Love," "That's the Way It Goes," "Circles" (originally intended for the Beatles' "White Album") and a nostalgic cover of the Stereos' "I Really Love You." A particular standout is "Dream Away" from the 1981 film "Time Bandits." Unfortunately, the remaining tracks come across as contractual throwaways (not surprising, since Harrison didn't bother to promote this unheralded release). "Gone Troppo" would represent the Quiet Beatle's last studio album until his 1987 "Cloud Nine" comeback."
