"I cant believe they left out the best song on the show, when the flowers are opening on the saguaro cactus in the deserts one and the same song plays in the rain forest when the tree falls to the ground and everything else starts to grow...someone find the name to that song please"

"The Planet Earth soundtrack is one of the largest I own, (and I have about 15 including some other documentary soundtracks) and even then they couldn't fit every bit of music onto two discs! This is an amazing soundtrack and it really helped support the incredible visuals from the series.

George Fenton is definitely one of the best documentary composers around. Along with Life in the Freezer and The Blue Planet, this is some of his best work, highly recommended!

"The documentary was a lovely artistic feat. When watching it, I closed my eyes and heard the music. I fell in love with it then.

I decided to buy this CD, and I do not regret a single penny of that purchase. The music is sweeping, varied, and powerful. Some pieces, like The Wolf and The Caribou, stand out as amazing works. I highly recommend this CD for anyone who wants to listen to beautiful music."
