The sensational Gary Hobbs is no stranger to loyal fans of Tejano Music. In the early 80s, Gary Hobbs and his group, The Hot Sauce Band, began recording under the guidance of Arnold Garcia, producer at Hacienda Records. This collaboration created a string of successful albums such as: Totally Tejano, Salvame, Muy Caliente, and the most remembered of all Mentiras. Released in 1985, Mentiras became the trademark song of Gary Hobbs and is still heard on Tejano stations today. Gary Hobbs and The Hot Sauce Band recorded with other record labels during his career, and yet it will always be the golden Hacienda years that will be credited for Garys finest recordings.


Gary, Texas born and bred, has earned the respect and admiration of peers and fans.
He has appeared on radio and television. He continues to perform to sold-out crowds, and at this point shows no signs of slowing down.
