CD Reviews

Classic "Down to Earth" Humor and Entertainment
M. Rozek | Fountain Valley, CA USA | 11/03/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you desire to relive or "experience for the first time" what real, every man/woman humor and life experience is about you must order this. Garrison and 'Company' are masters at storytelling, 'folksinging' and presenting the wonderful traits that made this country what it is today.

Thank God and Buttermilk Biscuits we have them."

"This is a hilarious album with all the favourite aspects of the Prairie Home Companion show. Garrison Keillor could read the phone book and it would be funny."
Wonderful folk humor
Anne Lagache | Orinda, CA, USA | 09/07/2008

"I saw the program on PBS and really enjoyed it, so I bought the CD. The CD is an audio version of the program. There are several wonderful songs which I still listen to regularly. I recommend that you buy it if you've enjoyed his other program and know his style. He's a storyteller with humor. I really like his style."
