"Garaj has been blessing my brain for some time now. What makes them so great? The parts; Fareed Haque on guitar is blazingly fast but always has swing, Kai Eckhardt on the bottom with the fattest tone, Alan Hertz with his supple and elastic drums that can snap a song into pure greatness, Eric Levy on keys, soulful.

But the whole is more than the sum; Garaj Mahal has a furiousness to their playing that brings to mind an express train. Their sound can dominate the synapses like no other band."
