Court Music Treasures presents five more gendings performed inside the kraton by the excellent musicians of the STSI Conservatory (Institute of the Arts) of Surakarta, in collaboration with musicians from the court itself. This series is the ideal follow-up to the famous Nonesuch Explorer recordings of the '70s. Features a full color booklet with notes in English by the Javanese music expert Sumarsam.
