Synopsis

Album Description
Full title - We've Got A Fuzzbox & We're Gonna Use It. A brilliant collection featuring the original poptastic punkettes that stormed planet pop. Here together for the first time are the 18 tracks recorded by the BBC for the legendary John Peel & Janice Long sessions in 198/87. The band were the darlings of the serious music press & enjoyed massive exposure through the mainstream media that resulted in a string of hits in the late 80's. The CD features all the bands best known tracks from their earlier period including their hit singles 'Rules & Regulations', 'Love Is The Slug', 'Spirit In The Sky' & 'What's The Point'. The CD booklet features exclusive photos from the band's personal archives & a complete discography with selected 7 inch picture covers.

"This is a good disc. It's a historical document and worth owning IF you are a fan of this group called Fuzzbox.
It's SAD that their first album never was issued on CD. It came out in 1986 at a time when some borderline acts were still getting only cassette and vinyl treatment.
Fuzzbox's "Big Bang!" was on CD but by that time the band was working in a different direction (not that I didn't like it) and sounded nothing like they do here. Yes, one can buy Fuzz & Nonsense or the 2-CD Rules and Regulations disc but I wish their debut would see the light of day on compact disc.OH I DO Digress. These BBC sessions are good for the Fuzzbox fan or someone who's curious. While I can't recommend the cover of Bohemian Rhapsody I do play tracks 6 and 9 quite a bit."
