CD Reviews

One Of The Greatest Greatest Hits Albums!
Servo | Atlanta, GA USA | 10/20/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Featuring the best of their only two previous albums (1992's "F.U. Don't Take It Personal," & 1994's "Nervous Breakdown"), Fu-Schnickens Greatest Hits not only hits the mark with its choice of selected "hits," but also earns very high marks for its inclusion of the four previously unreleased tracks, "Cray-Z" (jokester Chip-Fu at his exasperating finest), "Original Rude Boy," "Voice of Da Ghetto," and "Bring It Back" (a perfect closer for the album). This album is for any and every music fan, providing bonafide favorites--"La Schmoove," "True Fu-Schnick," "Heavenly Father," "What's Up Doc," and "Sum Dum Monkey" (along with phat new joints) for owners of the previous albums, while also giving curious new Fu-Schnick fans an excellent introductory to the infectious musical hijinks of kung-fu flick lovin' Moc-Fu, Poc-Fu, and Chip-Fu - the Fu-Schnickens. This CD accomplishes what few other greatest hits CDs have ever achieved - 1) Thoroughly satisfying both old and new fans, and 2) Ending on a high note (the group's last album), thereby leaving listeners wanting more. Again, one of the GREATEST greatest hits albums!"
