FMB-frozen monkey band:music made the old fashioned way, a few good friends getting together and jamming for their own entertainment, and over ten years developing a unique sound that could only be attained by that process. starting with the song structures of multimedia artist gary troy simpson and his guitar, ably backed by bassist mike rosenberg and lead guitarist pete johnson, the FMB trio is what it is, a live band, each performance recorded in one take and then sweetened to their liking. the ingredients of their musical backgrounds form into a melange that has been called "a post punk version of the kingston trio with a dash of the tennesse three and a splash of john lee hooker and james brown filtered through the spirit of andy kaufman". for all the kind people at our shows and friends who have requested some kind of recording, ask and ye shall receive. here is the music of the frozen monkey band.
