CD Reviews

You wanted the best, you got the best

"The most amazing band to walk on the face of the earth have come forward and made an even better album. This very well produced album shares the insight of Jimmy and Dennis Flemion with the world. I believe that the Frogs are like no other band and if you want to hear an amazing record, purchase this, help support them, and go see them LIVE (trust me with no special lights or effects, the frogs put on a better show then anyone when they hit the stage)"
A "real" album (as opposed to "made-up" albums)

"Hopscotch harkens back to the Starjob EP but without the "modern rawk" / slick production that marred the EP. Hopscotch is a great pop album. Great songs, great hooks, "Whisper" and "Bear" are outstanding, having said that, there is not a weak track on the album. This is way more mainstream than any other of the Frogs' releases, not too much controversy here, but some whimsy evident in tracks such as "Nipple Clamps", "Better Than God" and "Bad Daddy". The brothers Flemion also make clear on the package that "no rabbits were harmed during the making of this album"Gotta love 'em in their waskely wabbit suits..."
The Frogs make a real album....seriously, they did.

""My Daughter The Broad" this album is not. It is, however, an album of quirky, well written songs that only the Frogs are capable of. Yes indeed, they can write songs that don't involve defiling grandma and making fun of Jerry Lewis, and they do it well on this album. Standouts are "Better Than God", "Whisper", and "Bear". If you liked "Starjob" then you will definitely like this album as well. So run out and buy it, and help support a man who runs around in a green sequined butterfly costume."
