An excellent jazz sesion

"Gulda was one of the most famous pianist playing classical music. However, he also experienced jazz music with some success. Unfortunatelly there are few records of his jazz performances. This record, live at Birdland is really a must either for jazz fans or for collectionists. The perfect technic of his fingers is here combined with his special feelings for jazz, as it is shown in his nice version of Night in Tunisia. The sextet playing with him are composed by very well known jazz players and of course it sounds excellent. In few words, it is a CD to recommend."
