Forteba was born and raised in Hungary where he chose to be an electronic music producer at the age of eighteen. His early compositions settled somewhere between breakbeat and chillout, but he soon found his passion in straight rhythms and arrangements inspired by German deep-house. Embedding various elements of dub and ambient into his compositions, his style is hard to define. He has also produced some successful singles in his home country such as "The Garage" together with Gabor Pasztorialis and later met Zoltan Nagy of P60 who has in the past helped mix his tracks. This truly raised the production bar that Forteba had already set, and both listeners and critics alike are enraptured in the state-of-the-art sound of his debut on Plastic City. Space Between Us is Forteba's first album where he reinterprets and develops house music in all possible facets. More than scratching at the surface, he's instantly diving into the emotional world of the listener and captivates his audience with his always warm, diversified and excellent tracks. Like diving with closed eyes, Forteba guides you from the vast to the minimal, along with soulful sounds and deep floorburners. Broad, deep, breathtakingly beautiful...
